August 2020 DC FOP Auxiliary Report
Hello from the DC FOP Auxiliary!! We hope everyone is continuing to have a nice Summer and we pray everyone is doing well. We were notified that our annual crab feast that was to be held in November will have to be cancelled due to COVID-19. We unfortunately expected this to be confirmed at some point but hoped things would change. With the help of one of our Auxiliary members, Marianne Griffin, who is a travel agent, we have started a raffle to win a cruise for next Valentine’s Day, depa...

The significance of this pension exclusion is the early age at which you can enjoy this tax benefit. The 201...

However, we will make this up to our local law enforcement at the annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Day in January. Our National FOP Auxiliary implemented a program last year entitled REACH (Reach, Encouragement, Ass...

Message from the DYRS Labor Committee

As you may know, the FOP DYRS Labor Committee (“Union”) represents about 260 Youth Development Representatives (YDRs) at the DYRS facilities. These folks are youth correctional officers. They are essential employees who have continued to report for duty ...
