FOP Legal Defense

FOP DC Lodge is working alongside the National FOP to provide our members with the FOP Legal Defense Plan, which is owned and operated by the National FOP. There are two plans that have been designed to protect our members according to the membership type to which the member has been designated. Active Members may apply for the 'ABC' coverage that would protect them from any criminal, administrative, and civil matters arising from their performance of duties. Associate Members may apply for the 'BC' coverage that would protect them from any criminal and civil matters arising from their performance of duties, administrative is not included. Although the individual costs for these plans are usually $310 and $68 respectively, the Lodge is able to offer it at a discounted Group Rate. Below is a breakdown of the pricing options according to the plan for which the member would qualify.
